Uzumaki Signed Editions Reference

Uzumaki is Ito’s masterwork — a three-volume manga (serialized 1998–1999 in Big Comic Spirits) about a small coastal town consumed by an obsession with spirals. The spirals manifest in increasingly horrific ways: snail transformations, spiral-shaped hair that kills, a lighthouse that draws people in spiraling paths, pregnant women terrified of the spirals forming in their bodies. The Adult Swim animated adaptation (2024) brought the series to its widest Western audience.
