Verify a Certificate

Every item authenticated by the firm is recorded to a public Register. Enter a certificate number to retrieve its record.

Format: A-YEAR-NNNN. The certificate number appears at the head of the document and on the back of every photograph in the sale record.

Step One
1. Enter the number

Certificate numbers follow the format A-YEAR-NNNN. Hyphens, spaces, and dots are interchangeable.

Step Two
2. Compare the record

The Register returns the full certificate, photographs, signatures, and the unbroken chain of custody from issue to present.

Step Three
3. Report any mismatch

If the record does not match the document in your hand, contact the firm at once. We investigate every reported mismatch within five business days.
