The Urth of the New Sun (1987) Signed First Edition Reference

The Urth of the New Sun is the fifth volume in the Book of the New Sun cycle — a coda or sequel that takes Severian beyond the events of the original tetralogy. Published in 1987 by Tor Books, the novel follows Severian’s journey to the star Yesod to plead for a new sun for his dying world. The novel shifts from the relatively grounded (by Wolfe standards) narrative of the tetralogy into explicitly cosmic territory.
