Ronin (1987 Collected) Signed First Edition Reference
Ronin is Miller’s samurai-cyberpunk fusion. Originally published as six issues by DC Comics in 1983–1984, the collected edition appeared in 1987. The story follows a ronin (masterless samurai) and his opponent, a demon, who are reincarnated in a dystopian future New York City. Miller drew heavily on manga aesthetics, particularly the work of Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima (Lone Wolf and Cub).
