Ice Haven (2005) Signed First Edition Reference
Ice Haven originally appeared as the complete contents of Eightball #22 (2001) before being expanded, recolored, and published by Pantheon in 2005. The book is a fragmented, multi-character portrait of a small fictional town, each section drawn in a different cartooning style — from Sunday funnies to underground comix to European clear-line.
First Edition Identification
The 2005 Pantheon hardcover is the expanded “definitive” version. The 2001 Eightball #22 is the original publication. Both are collectible, with the Eightball version preferred by comics purists and the Pantheon edition by book collectors.
