The Gabriel García Márquez First Edition Collector's Guide
Gabriel García Márquez (1927–2014) is the Colombian writer whose novel One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967) is the single most important Latin American literary work of the twentieth century. The 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature confirmed his status as a world figure. García Márquez’s collected first editions — in both Spanish and English — represent one of the most significant and valuable collecting fields in modern literature.
