The Wynne-Jones name is most widely known in the literary world through Tim Wynne-Jones (b. 1948), the prolific Canadian author of children’s and young adult fiction. Tim Wynne-Jones’s The Maestro (1995) won the Governor General’s Award, and he has received numerous other honours for his inventive, psychologically acute fiction for young readers.
